Relatively
new to the Colorado music scene, Linée has had a
long-standing music career touring with her band
along the eastern seacoast, performing as a solo
artist, and releasing two CD’s. She has had the
honor and opportunity to share stages with the
likes of Jewel, Ani Difranco, Melissa Ferrick,
Antigone Rising, and Jonatha Brooke, along with
many other great talents. She and her previous band
have won local and national awards and was a
finalist in Musician Magazine’s Best Unsigned Band
Contest. Linée’s voice has been described as a
blending of Melissa Etheridge and Billie Holiday.
Regardless of what you hear, you will not soon
forget.
Her first record, Hard Questions (Stick Girl Records, 1998), was toured throughout the northeast, playing to crowds as large as 30,000. The second record, Brown Out (Stick Girl Records, 2001), was long in the making and involved numerous local talents and is dedicated to the memory of fellow musician Alexis Shepard. A third project, soon to be released, takes an entirely different approach to her songwriting and recording style.
